Van Buren Location Closed Due to Flooding

As of this morning, Thursday, May 4 the temporary facility located at 206 Main Street (across from Jolly Cone) in Van Buren is now open. We have resumed regular business hours, which are:

Monday-Thursday: 8:30-4:00
Friday: 8:30-5:00
Saturday: 8:30-11:00

Tellers, loan secretaries and officers will be in place to serve the needs of our customers.


Customer calls can be transferred to our Van Buren staff by dialing our Piedmont office at (573) 223-4215 until phone lines are restored in Van Buren.

A modular bank facility has been delivered to our temporary location at 206 Main Street in Van Buren (across from Jolly Cone). We expect the facility to be operational by the end of the day tomorrow, Wednesday, May 3 and will able to provide deposit and loan services to area customers.


Phone service throughout Van Buren remains non-operational, therefore please continue to direct questions to our Piedmont location at (573) 223-4215. We should have more information regarding direct communication with our temporary facility soon.

Due to extensive flooding, the First Midwest Bank location in Van Buren has been temporarily closed. We have implemented our disaster recovery plan and will have a temporary bank facility delivered to the area by Wednesday, May 3 with plans to be operational on Thursday, May 4. Please watch our social media pages for further announcements.


Customers who need to conduct bank business immediately may visit our locations in Piedmont, Williamsville and Greenville or may use online/mobile banking for balance inquiries, transfers and mobile check deposit. Effective immediately and until further notice, all foreign ATM fees will be refunded to Van Buren customers. For additional questions or information, please contact our main bank in Piedmont at (573) 223-4215.
